Registrations Stamps in the Andhra Pradesh state was affected on Thursday 11th feb 2016 as Document Writers struck work by going on a strike in protest against the state government’s move to entrust the job to a private organisation. In AP state there are 291 SRO s and most of Document writers participated in strike call given by APDWA. strike resulted in Rs 20 crore revenue loss to govt.
Bundh continues for second day Friday12th feb 2016. In an interview by Vetuku news paper Tirupati Rural Document Writers around 25 people wearing Black badges HEADED BY M.SUBBARAO AND OTHERS strongly protested against AP govts move. They also said there are around 1 lakh persons make their living by preparing documents the move by State government affects their living.

Their demands are to continue prevailing system and to grant licences like earliar.
